The Strider

For anyone that doesn't know what a strider is, it is a bike without pedals.  The idea is that little kids can learn how to steer and balance a bike first, and then transfer to a bike with pedals and without training wheels.  Timothy got his strider last Christmas from his awesome cousin Cole and is finally tall enough and walking well enough that we thought that we could pull it out.  Man does he love it!  :)

  1. Kari has a Skuut. Same concept and she loves it. She rode all over this summer and got to the point where she could go quite fast and with both feet off the ground! (Then I pumped up the tire and exploded it...) I can't wait to see how she does when she transfers to a 2-wheeler someday.
I'm glad Timothy loves it. It makes going for walks great because you can actually walk and not move at toddler speed.

    1. I was thinking the same thing! By the end of the summer, we could go for walks and I could potentially consider it as exercise...or even go to the park without the stroller! :)
