2 months

Timothy went in yesterday for his 2 month check-in and did a great job. He weighs 8 lbs, 15 oz and is 21.25 inches. (He would have weighed in at 9 lbs, but he had the diaper of a lifetime right before we went) He is only in the 4th and 7th percentile for weight and height, but considering all that he is going through, we aren't surprised and the doctor isn't concerned. He is on track for all of things he should be doing developmentally, but he is still not eating. Our doctor has recommended that we go to Children's Mercy Hospital to see a GI specialist to see if they can help him eat. We will let you know how it goes...Monday is our appointment. In the meantime, we are doing lots of cuddling to recover from the vaccines. He only cried right after the shots, but he has been pretty fussy since. Hopefully tomorrow we will be feeling better because mommy is really missing all of the sweet smiles and coos!

Because he spends most of his time sleeping (including most nights), our pictures this time are of him sleeping. I wish that I had more of him smiling, but I never have the camera available or he stares at it when the little orange light turns on. There is also a picture of Tigger with her new toy...our humidifier. She likes to watch it for bubbles rising in the water tank and will start tapping it if they don't come fast enough. She also likes to now grab washcloths and dishrags and hide them under our rugs...never a dull moment here! :)

he really was smiling right as I was taking this picture...

good morning!

I made my mommy and daddy so happy because I slept for 7 hours in one stretch! :)

pacifier

I know this is upside down, but it is so funny (maybe it is the lack of sleep).

more pictures

I have been getting demands for more pictures, so here you are mom. :) I would have posted some earlier, but I couldn't find where the cord was to connect the camera to the computer. As of Monday, Timothy weights 8 lbs, 10 oz! The feeding team appointment went well - it seems that Timothy eats well, but just does not want to swallow. After talking with his doctor, we increased the dosage of his acid reflux medicine because it wasn't enough for his size now that he is gaining weight. Maybe that will make his throat feel better and he will want to eat. Other than that, not much is going on here...Jared is trying to get all of his schoolwork done before the quarter ends in a couple of weeks and we are all just trying to stay warm (thankfully the epic ice/snowstorm only ended up as a couple inches of sleet and snow).

A day with Timothy:

getting ready to eat with the feeding tube

hanging out with Tigger

talking with Eeyore

helping dad with his homework

sleeping

smiling :)
