Family in Town

Today we are in recovery mode from a fun weekend. The Hintz side of the family came to visit and to help us celebrate Timothy's baptism. We recognized his baptism at church and then the elders' wives threw a wonderful shower for him after church. A great time and our son now officially can wear a different outfit everyday until March and I don't have to do any laundry. :) Unfortunately, Jared's mom came down with the flu and his brother was stuck with work so they were not able to make it to St. Louis. We are all looking forward to seeing them very soon.

This morning, Timothy is a little cranky and not wanting to eat his food, but he has slept through the night the last two nights and that makes mommy and daddy very happy. We are working with our doctor to move Timothy from 2 ounces every 3 hours to 3 ounces 6 times a day, with most of those feedings happening during the day hours. So far, I have been setting my alarm for 3 am to feed him, but he has been sound asleep, so I leave him alone and let him wake me up, which has been around 6 or 7. :) Yay! We are looking forward to a quiet week...just a doctor's appointment on Wednesday to check his weight (last week Wednesday he was 7 lb, 14 oz). I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will see 8 pounds.

  1. Hi you guys! We love seeing these pictures so keep them coming! Cole keeps wondering when he'll get to see Timothy. Good luck on the weigh in this week, and glad to hear that you are getting some sleep!
